How it keeps your text private

Most websites send what you type to a server. TXT File Maker doesn't. When you click download, your own browser packages the text into a file and saves it to your device. We never receive a copy, so there's nothing for us to store, read or lose.

That also means we can't recover your text for you. If you close the page before downloading, the text is gone, so the tool warns you before you leave with unsaved work.
